VC United gets "Social"!!

Due to the repeated instability with the hosting server for VCUnited.org, I decided it was time to move into the 21st century and enter VCU into the social media circus and created a new facebook page - You can find the new "Team VCUnited" page here - https://www.facebook.com/groups/626798...

VCU Re-Opens to the Public!

After almost a year of closing the doors to the general public, due to frustrations and other reasons, I've decided to re-open user registration at VCUnited.org. Anyone who isn't already member is more then welcome to join, however let it be known, things are still being kept tight as registration w...

Re: New Forum Bug List

are you trying to use a pic on your ftp? Yep, works everywhere else except for here. Also, and I may have missed an "X" button, but when there's a notification upon logging on to the forum, for example, when a new download is added to the downloads section, the screen I'm trying to look a...

Re: New Forum Bug List

I got this error before (with the old forum) and am still getting it when trying to post up a picture -

"It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image. Please verify that the URL you entered is correct."

It sprung up after the migration actually.

Re: Who's doing what for the 2016 Rolex 24?

I'm following my normal "traditional" pattern for this time of the year. I watch the coverage, followed by many complaints of why they won't show the overnight racing, like they do at LeMans  Then wake up for the second batch of coverage. This year has been a little different. Ins...

Re: GTR2 Stuttering/Freezing after visit to tech

Well, tonight I was bored so I did a reinstall of GTR2. Added none of my old files from previous install. Fired it up. All seemed fine till I hit the track. Shuttering just like old times. Now as far as I know everything from the old game is gone and the pc is free of malware and viruses. No idea w...

Re: GTR2 Stuttering/Freezing after visit to tech

I'm even more interested to hear what they did to it to "fix" it. If it was a roll back or windows reset (which is a common way to fix problems) it sounds like they never even bothered to put in a fresh batch of drivers (which is one reason of why possibly your wheel and mouse were not wor...

Re: GTR2 Stuttering/Freezing after visit to tech

I'm going to put my big heavy boots on and stomp all over this thread for a moment...its nothing personal against anyone, but Zack knows first hand of some serious pet peeves I have, especially when it pertains to installs of GTR2. For starters, anytime you get your PC worked on, updated or have a r...

Re: Tech Support Forum

Ok, heard today Microsoft will be officially dropping support for operating system windows XP. It runs my desk top which holds my games. Any idea as to what to expect? XP runs games very well and Ive put off changing over to anything else for this reason. What system do you use and do you have any ...

Re: Controller not allowing gear change...

I've seen this happen before, and I'm trying to remember what causes that. Not sure if the person is using a steering wheel or arcade controller, but my guess in either case, is they have to make sure that neutral is undefined, meaning it has no key or button option next to it (basically it has a &q...

Favorites [GTR2]

Ok, so as some of you know, I've turned more miles with GTR2 then most "should" lol, and while racing a 12 hour race at Sebring tonight, I got to wondering what's everyone's favorite car/track, as well as least favorite car/track (we can even do mods if you guys want). Also let's keep this...

Re: Ford to bring back the GT? Compete at Le Mans?

From all that I've gathered, Ford's possible return to an LMP category is based on a long time rivalry between Ford vs Ferrari. (Henry Ford II -with the aid of Carol Shelby vs Enzo Ferrari = The Ford GT40 vs The Ferrari 330P) Ferrari has been making noises of returning to LeMans with a prototype for...

Believe it or not, I woke up today not realizing it was the 4th. To follow suit of living these years outside the city limits, I should be ducking the neighbors fireworks bombardment in just a few short hours!
